I graduated with an MSc in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Wits University. I am currently pursuing my PhD with the CSIR and UCT. My PhD focuses on assessing the effects of increasing temperatures and decreasing pH levels on primary phytoplankton production, nutrient uptake, and community structure in the Southern Ocean under the supervision of Dr Tommy Ryan-Keogh, Dr Siyabulela Hamnca, and Dr Sarah Fawcett.
